Job Description:
Uniting is currently seeking care workers to join their team. As a care worker job, selected candidate will provide assistance and support to individuals who are unable to fully care for themselves. As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with their daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Responsibilities of Job:

  • Provide personal care assistance to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that individuals receive proper nutrition.
  • Administer medications and monitor individuals for any adverse reactions or side effects.
  • Assist with mobility, including transferring individuals from bed to wheelchair or vice versa.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, listening and engaging in conversation.
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and cleaning.
  • Monitor and report any changes in individual’s condition or behavior to supervisor.

Requirements for Job:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
