JOB OF REPAIRMAN (DIESEL ENGINE), SAUDI ARABIA

Responsibilities of Job:

• Diagnose and Troubleshoot Diesel Engines: Inspect, identify, and diagnose issues with diesel engines, including but not limited to trucks, heavy machinery, generators, and other equipment.
• Repair and Maintain Engines: Perform repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on diesel engines, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
• Replace Parts: Replace worn or damaged engine components such as pistons, fuel injectors, gaskets, belts, and filters.
• Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and coolant flushes, to ensure the longevity of diesel engines.
• Welding and Fabrication: Utilize welding and fabrication skills when necessary to repair or modify engine components and structures.
• Adhere to Safety Regulations: Follow safety guidelines, wear appropriate protective gear, and ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and parts replacements for reference and reporting purposes.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to efficiently complete repair projects and share knowledge and expertise.

Eligibility Criteria for Job:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical training in diesel engine repair is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience as a diesel engine repairman or mechanic is required, with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, including knowledge of engine systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or equivalent is advantageous.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to diagnose and rectify engine issues accurately.
• Safety Consciousness: Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Physical Stamina: Good physical condition, as the job may involve lifting heavy equipment and working in tight spaces.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and clients effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve engine issues efficiently.
• Availability: Flexibility with working hours, as some repairs may be required during evenings, weekends, or emergencies.
