The Role:

Based in Smithfield, this role reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of the reliability team, supporting production of our busy plant.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Be reactive to breakdowns minimizing downtime
  • Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines
  • Assist in mechanical/electrical fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs
  • PLC/SCADA experience with Siemens
  • Update and maintain data records on works carried out
  • Use continuous improvement to ensure optimal safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Hold a current unrestricted A Class Electrical License
  • EWP/WP license required
  • Previous maintenance experience in a fixed plant and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Automated machinery, PLC’s, Drives and HMI’s
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
  • Adhere, uphold, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
