Te Whatu Ora are seeking for Manual Handling Coordinator to their team in Masterton, New Zealand. Manual Handling Coordinator have ability to oversee and implement the moving and handling program, create injury prevention programs, offer training, ensure safety compliance, and meet legal standards. For this full-time permanent position, offers a competitive salary range $33.25 per hour within the occupational health and safety department, the candidate will develop and deliver programs aimed at reducing and preventing injury and work-related ill health.

Responsibilities for Manual Handling Coordinator :

• Candidate is responsible for providing initial training and continuous educational support within the hospital.
• Ensure staff practice at the highest level of competence in safe moving and handling.
• Ensure the ability to industry best practices and legal regulations.
• Ability to develop and delivery of programmes designed to reduce and prevent injury and work-related ill health.
• Providing initial and continuous training and education sessions.

Qualifications for Manual handling coordinator:

• Candidate must have nursing degree or diploma in manual handling.
• It must be registered nurse certificate and allied health professional.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and enjoys collaborating with people.
• Ability to identify risks and develop strategies to mitigate them related to manual handling and safety.
