Halter is currently seeking for mapping and support specialist to join their team in Auckland, New Zealand. The ideal candidate have ability to provide quality control to uphold the highest standards of all mapping that is completed by Halter’s mapping team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $56,000-$110,000 as per year. Applicant must have bachelor’s degree in geography, environmental science and computer science. Candidate is responsible to manage the timely and high-quality delivery of maps in our deployment queues.

Qualifications for Mapping & Support Specialist:

• Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in geography, Environmental science and computer science.
• It must have certificate in geographic information system.
• Proficiency in database management, data analysis and software development.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mapping and geographic information system.
• Experience in providing technical support, preferably in a mapping.

Responsibilities for Mapping & Support Specialist:

• Candidate must have collect, verify and update spatial data from various sources.
• It must have ability to maintain and update geographic information system database and ensure data integrity.
• Perform data quality checks and corrections.
• Analyse spatial data identify patterns and trends.
• Produce custom maps and spatial analysis reports based on user requirement.
