The ideal candidate have ability to provide quality control to uphold the highest standards of all mapping that is completed by Halter’s mapping team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $56,000-$110,000 as per year. Applicant must have bachelor’s degree in geography, environmental science and computer science. Candidate is responsible to manage the timely and high-quality delivery of maps in our deployment queues.
Qualifications for Mapping Technician:
- Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in geography, Environmental science and computer science.
- It must have certificate in geographic information system.
- Proficiency in database management, data analysis and software development.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mapping and geographic information system.
- Experience in providing technical support, preferably in a mapping.
Responsibilities for Mapping Technician:
- Candidate must have collect, verify and update spatial data from various sources.
- It must have ability to maintain and update geographic information system database and ensure data integrity.
- Perform data quality checks and corrections.
- Analyse spatial data identify patterns and trends.
- Produce custom maps and spatial analysis reports based on user requirement.
