Merchandising Supervisor

The Merchandising Supervisor contributes to the success of Pepsico Beverages Canada through leadership of a team of frontline team to merchandise product in key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment. Coach and motivate a team of merchandisers to provide superior marketplace execution and customer service while achieving Pepsico Beverages objectives.

Responsibilities For Merchandising Supervisor

• Apply knowledge of merchandising principles to drive productivity
• Manage multiple priorities while allocating resources between accounts
• Brief the frontline employees on scheduling and meeting delivery goals
• Anticipate potential customer issues; apply contingency planning to avoid customer dissatisfaction
• Train frontline employees and utilize PBC processes and tools
• Understand cost per unit constraints when meeting customer needs
• Help employees prioritize the work and promote teamwork
• Supervise daily operations, delegate tasks and monitor progress
• Achieve productivity, service and labour cost targets, measure performance to drive accountability
• Responsible for ensuring the daily health and safety of workers by ensuring all regulatory training is complete and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Cross departmental support with delivery supervisory team

Qualifications for Merchandising Supervisor

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative

Skills for Merchandising Supervisor

• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required
• Demonstrated analytical skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills required
• Consumer Products experience in a direct store delivery environment is a plus
• Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite
• Previous experience with fact-based direct selling an asset
• Possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Must be willing to lift 40lbs periodically
