Our Infrastructure Services business based in Hazelmere, Perth WA, is seeking to appoint a full-time Metal Fabricator to work in our Fleet Workshop. This position will report to the Workshop Supervisor and work alongside our highly skilled team members. Some local and regional travel may be required from time to time.

We are seeking a team member who can perform the following duties:

  • Measuring and marking out cutting, double checking design specification before commencing cutting work for onsite assembling
  • Working with different types of metal materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, low temp carbon steel etc
  • Onsite welding using various techniques to join sections
  • Fabricating and constructing metal components using MMA and TIG welding equipment
  • Grinding and finishing completed products as well as performing quality checks
  • Assembling components as per supplied drawings/ instruction and assembling and welding pipe components
