About Cadia
Our Cadia Valley Operation in New South Wales is situated about 25 kilometers from Orange and 250 kilometers west of Sydney. Cadia produces gold doré bars from a gravity circuit and gold-rich copper concentrates from a flotation circuit. The operation includes the Cadia East Mine which is globally renowned for its use of block caving, a large-scale underground mining method.

Who we’re looking for
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Operator to join our team based at our Cadia mine. You will be responsible for the safe and productive operation of mining equipment in the underground mine, completing tasks as delegated by the Shift Supervisor. You may also be required to carry out additional tasks as required (eg – mine services work, charge up, assisting jumbo operator, service checks and minor maintenance, etc).
Key deliverables include, but are not limited to:
- Operate and monitor trucks
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure all incidents, near miss and hazards are reported to Shift Supervisor.
To be considered applicants require the following skills and experience:
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive hazard and risk awareness
- Demonstrated ability to have the courage to speak up when critical controls are not adequate
- Manual C Class Driver’s License is required
- Working at Heights ticket to be obtained prior to start
