Nurse Educator Job In New Zealand

Te Whatu Ora are seeking for nurse educator to join their team inc within the general ward, accident and medical in New Zealand. The role is to provide and facilitate clinical education to maximise health care delivery to enhance patients outcomes. The ideal candidate have a ability to promote clinical excellence through the facilitation, development and provision of ward and units. It have the ability to develop the competence and capability of the nursing workforce within the clinical areas. This full-time position offers a salary range is $49.26 per hour. For this position, candidate must hold a current practicing certificate of registered nurse and it must have qualified health care professional authorized to provide nursing care in accordance with national standard and regulation.

Responsibilities of nurse educator:

  • Candidate is responsible for promoting clinical excellence through the facilitation, development and provision of ward and unit based on education programmes and resources.
  • It have the ability to develop the competence and capability of the nursing workforce within the clinical area.
  • Demonstrate consistently high clinical standards, clinical leadership and professionalism.
  • Provide high quality care within the hospital.

Qualifications for nurse educator:

  • Candidate must hold a current practicing certificate of registered nurse.
  • It must have healthcare professional qualification.
  • Holds a relevant post – graduate medical education.
  • It must possesses a certificate in adult and clinical teaching.
  • At least 7 years of post-registration experience.
  • Ability to encourage teamwork, cooperation and positive attitude.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team.
  • Committed to the development of the nursing profession.
