Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Job In New Zealand

University health network(UHN) is seeking an occupational safety and health professionals to join their team at Toronto general hospital in New Zealand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all occupational safety and health operations throughout the entire university health network. The university health network is committed to providing high-quality care for all patients. The candidate must have the ability to oversee the administration, planning, design, strategy and budget of these functions. The successful candidate will lead the team toward a trauma- informed approach to security operation and acts as liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including the Toronto police service. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range is $200,261 per year, and the opportunity to spearhead the organization’s efforts toward fostering a safety culture.

Qualifications for Occupational Safety and Health:

  • The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, law and security.
  • It must have minimum 10 years experience in operations the field of security, safety and emergency support.
  • Experience in healthcare and public sectors in the field of security, safety and emergency support.
  • Possesses the skills to introduce and manage changes while maintaining performance.
  • Capability to develop and enhance working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Holds the certification as a certificate healthcare protection administrator (CHPA).

Responsibilities for Occupational Safety and Health:

  • Candidate is accountable for directly leading the management of security and life safety.
  • Ensure localized customer service and front-line customer engagement in life safety.
  • Preparing appropriate business plans documents about security and life safety.
  • Must possess the ability to facilitate collaboration and coalitions among diverse groups and offer suggestions to enhancing service.
