Southern cross healthcare is seeking a operational specialist to join their team at Auckland in New Zealand. Brightside hospital team are looking for a self-motivated facilities manager is responsible for day-to-day building management of the hospital. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work with the team in the national support office on capital requirements, requests and the delivery of upgrades or replacements. They must also ensure safe environment for staff, patients and visitors. For this position, candidate must have minimum 5 years experience in facilities manager. This full time position offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 to $115,000 per year.
Responsibilities for Operational Specialist:
- The candidate will manage all proactive and reactive repairs within the maintenance department.
- It have ability to manage all contractor maintenance programmes including management, delivery, performance, compliance and budgeting for all building relate services.
- Ensure building compliance with local authority regulations in New Zealand.
- Demonstrate the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary team environment.
- Provide quality-care to the patients within the hospital.
Qualifications for Operational Specialist:
- Candidate must have minimum 5 years experience of operational specialist.
- It must have experience of building management system(BMS).
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in facilities management and business administration.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
- Familiarity with building compliance, local authority regulations.
