About the Role
As a Poultry Worker on our laying farms, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality, hygienic eggs. Working within a collaborative team on a 14-day site roster (providing 365-day coverage), you will be responsible for the care and management of poultry, adhering to strict bio-security and workplace standards.

Key Responsibilities

Work proactively within a team to meet daily production goals.

Monitor and maintain flock health and welfare at all times.

Participate in training to develop and maintain high-level skills and knowledge.

Adhere to workplace health and safety, quarantine, and bio-security protocols.

Operate machinery and equipment to optimize poultry systems.

Monitor and manage feeding and watering systems, performing general animal husbandry tasks.

Work within various intensive livestock systems.

Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
About You
We are looking for motivated individuals with:

Strong communication skills and attention to detail for husbandry and quality assurance tasks.

A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport.

Physical fitness to work in dusty, dirty, or outdoor environments in all weather conditions.

Willingness to comply with strict bio-security requirements, including signing an agreement to avoid contact with avian species (e.g., no keeping birds, chickens, ducks, or pigs at home).
