Production Operator

Senior Leadership is seeking motivated and reliable Production Operators to join our manufacturing team in Whyalla, SA. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, committed to safety, and eager to work in a fast-paced production environment. As a Production Operator, you will be a key part of the manufacturing process, ensuring quality standards are maintained while supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the production line.

This position involves working 12-hour shifts on a rotating roster, including night shifts, and requires individuals who are adaptable and capable of maintaining focus under demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery and equipment.

  • Ensure that products meet required quality and safety standards.

  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company guidelines.

  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment.

  • Complete accurate documentation and reporting related to production tasks.

  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Assist with loading, unloading, and general manual handling tasks as needed.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or related industries is highly desirable.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery.

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.

  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
