Responsibilities of Production Packers:

• Sorting and grading fruits or vegetables according to size, colour, and quality standards.
• Packing fruits or vegetables into containers or boxes for shipping.
• Responsible for sorting, packing, and processing fruits or vegetables in a pack house environment.
• Operating machinery for packing and processing
• Inspecting produce for defects or damage
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
• Following health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements for Production Packers :

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Attention to detail.
• Physical stamina for lifting and standing for long periods.
• Previous experience in pack house work preferred but not required.
