You will play a critical role in leading and supporting our production team, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in daily operations. The opportunity:

We are currently recruiting Process Workers to join our team in Visy Board, Dandenong. These are full time permanent roles working on a rotating shift of 2 weeks on day shift (6am to 4.30pm) and 2 weeks on afternoon shift (4.30pm to 3am). As a Process worker your main duties will involve tasks such as Stacking, feeding or rework. Reporting to the Shift manager your

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operate machinery to meet production, service, and quality standards for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.
  • Feeding product into the converting machines and arranging product at the machine discharge points.
  • Stacking products onto palettes for further processing ensuring all board stacked are neat and stable.
  • Assist in machine setup, dismantling and job changes tasks for a production run.
  • Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers
  • Maintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping at all times.

  • Work out of a brand new site with state of the art equipment
  • Supervise and facilitate daily shift activities for the production team
  • Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet delivery, quality, and safety targets
  • Monitor equipment calibration and oversee efficient changeovers and line setups
  • Train and develop operators to enhance skills and productivity
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements
  • Support maintenance programs and troubleshoot machine issues
