Visy Specialties is seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team at our new, modern Truganina facility. You will play a critical role in leading and supporting our production team, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality in daily operations. The opportunity:
We are currently recruiting Process Workers to join our team in Visy Board, Dandenong. These are full time permanent roles working on a rotating shift of 2 weeks on day shift (6am to 4.30pm) and 2 weeks on afternoon shift (4.30pm to 3am). Key responsibilities will include:
- Operate machinery to meet production, service, and quality standards for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.
- Feeding product into the converting machines and arranging product at the machine discharge points.
- Stacking products onto palettes for further processing ensuring all board stacked are neat and stable.
- Assist in machine setup, dismantling and job changes tasks for a production run.
- Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers
- Maintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping at all times.

- Supervise and facilitate daily shift activities for the production team
- Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Allocate resources effectively to meet delivery, quality, and safety targets
- Monitor equipment calibration and oversee efficient changeovers and line setups
- Train and develop operators to enhance skills and productivity
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement process improvements
- Support maintenance programs and troubleshoot machine issues
