Shift and Schedule: Day Shift, Afternoon Shift, Shift Work
Key Responsibilities:
- Use tools such as nail guns, saws, tape measures, and hammers to construct prefabricated house frames.
- Operate various machinery to build roof trusses, wall frames, posi struts, and cassette floor panels.
- Pick and prepare timber and hardware orders for production.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet Timbertruss’s high standards.
- Strap completed jobs for delivery to construction sites.
- Count stock and select appropriate timbers for use in production.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to workplace health and safety protocols.
Shift Details:
- Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM; Friday, 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM; Friday, 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Successful applicants may start on the Day Shift for training, with the opportunity to transition to the Afternoon Shift upon completion.
Requirements:
- Interest in working with timber and performing hands-on tasks.
- No prior experience necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Physical capability to handle timber and operate tools and machinery safely.
