Te Whatu Ora are seeking for radiology department assistant to join their team in Whangarei hospital in New Zealand. The radiology department assistant role is to support the medical imaging technology, sonographers and administrative team with the care of patients. The ideal candidate have ability to working closely with patient from area such as emergency department, ICU and in-patient areas. It have ability to provide high quality patient care within the hospital. Candidate have ability to work independently within the multidisciplinary team environment. This fixed term position offers a salary range is $ 92,459 per year. Candidate have ability to work 4- 5 hours per day within the radiology department.

Qualifications for Radiology Department Assistant:

• Candidate must have experience in previous administration.
• It must have excellent communication skills.
• It must have secondary school qualification to years 12.
• It have ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Transfer patients to and from radiology department for their imaging and diagnostic requirements in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ability to provide quality-care to patients.

The Radiology Department Assistant role is to support the Medical Imaging Technologists, Sonographers and Administrative Team with the care of patients undergoing radiological examinations including X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound and CT examinations.  It is a varied role with a focus on high quality patient care, team work, and clerical duties.
