Registered Nurse – PACU Job In New Zealand

Wakefield hospital is seeking a registered nurse- PACU to join their team in Wellington, New Zealand. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to provide recovery care for patients undergoing general anaesthetic, local anaesthetic and monitored sedation within the surgical ward catering to both adult and paediatric populations. Qualification for Registered Nurse-PACU:

• Candidate must hold current registered nurse certificate.
• Demonstrate nursing experience in a surgical and medical setting.

• Holds a post-anaesthesia care unit (PASU) nursing qualification.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse- PASU:

• Candidate is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anaesthesia in the post-anaesthesia care unit.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and assess patients condition post surgery.
