Onside is seeking for senior software engineer to join their team at Christchurch in Canterbury, New Zealand. The ideal candidate have ability too develop and maintain robust, scalable and effective software applications to adhering to best practices and coding standards. Onside is an agri-tech saas scale-up born out of Christchurch, and provide problem solving farmers and agribusiness through cutting-edge, innovative software to the clients. Candidate have ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the team and monitoring them in software development best practices, coding techniques and design patterns. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range is $130,000 per year. Applicant must have bachelor degree in Computer science, software engineering.

Qualifications for Senior Software Engineer:

• Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in computer science and software engineering.
• It must have senior level coding expertise using both Core and Net framework.
• Experience in agile methods and Kanban.
• Ability to control and continuous integration and continuous deployment technologies including Git and Azure devops.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities for Senior Software Engineer:

• Candidate have ability to develop and maintain robust, scalable and efficient in using software applications including core and net framework.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to junior members of the team.
• Collaborate with the test and customer support teams to resolve issues to ensure the stability and reliability of software applications.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and technical workshops to ensure code quality and scalability of software solutions.
