Here’s what your day-to-day responsibilities will look like:

  • You’ll provide essential installation and maintenance services for electrical, data, fibre, mechanical, and communication equipment at customer sites, as required.
  • Ensure all associated documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Conduct thorough Risk Assessments prior to undertaking tasks and maintain safety throughout the project.
  • Install a variety of infrastructure to support front-end operational equipment.
  • This position requires working at heights, so you must be comfortable and capable of performing tasks safely at varying heights.
  • The Multi Skilled Technician role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at our Ash church site near Tewkesbury, with regular travel to customer locations.

What do I need for the role?

  • Completed a time-served Electrical Apprenticeship, providing a solid foundation in electrical work.
  • Proficient in installing various electrical infrastructure cabling, including terminations and testing, as well as data and fibre optic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety policies and regulations relevant to the role, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Familiarity with the Code of Practice for the In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (4th Edition) and BS7671 (Latest Edition) Electrical Wiring Regulations.
  • Hold City & Guilds qualifications, including parts 1 and 2 in Electrical Installations, and certificates for inspection and testing (2391/2394/2395 and 2392 level 3).
  • Experience working at heights is advantageous; training will be provided if necessary.
