Theatre Manager Job In New Zealand

Royston hospital are seeking for theatre manager to join their team in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. Royston Hospital is a leading provider of private surgical services in Hawke’s Bay, offering a comprehensive range of diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures. Candidate will committed to delivering quality patient care within the hospital. It will play a pivotal role in leading a theatre teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. It has ability to work closely with the theatre services manager and theatre coordinator. For this position, candidate will work four days per week, Monday to Friday within a hospital. The candidate is responsible for organizing equipment and resources. Additionally, they have a ability to completed their task with optimizing efficiency and effectiveness, thereby ensuring a service that is consultant and patient-focused for this full-time permanent job position.

Responsibilities for Theatre Manager:

• Candidate is responsible to lead the theatre teams to ensure the delivery of quality patient care.
• It have a ability to organize equipment and resources efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
• Assist with staff allocation and delegation of daily tasks.
• Support the Theatre Services Manager in achieving the strategic goals of the company.
• Contribute to the day-to-day management of the theatres and promote teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements for Theatre Manager:

• Candidate must have five years of recent post-graduate experience in a theatre environment.
• Proven clinical experience and ability in the operating theatre.
• Team building, leadership, and teaching skills.
• Sound clinical expertise in one or more specialties within theatre.
• Demonstrated commitment to risk management and quality improvement.
• Current New Zealand Nursing Council annual practicing certificate.

Skills :

• It must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Candidate must have well-developed communication and time management skills.
• Commitment to the provision of quality services.
