Tree Nursery Production Worker

What You’ll Do

As a Tree Nursery Production Worker, you’ll play a key role in the daily operations of our tree nursery. Your responsibilities will include:

• Plant Care: Prune, weed, and water trees and shrubs to ensure healthy growth.
• Planting & Storing: Plant and store bare root trees, as well as maintain containerized trees.
• Physical Tasks: Bend, lift, and carry up to 25 kg (50 lbs) while loading and unloading trucks.
• Nursery Maintenance: Keep the nursery organized and tidy, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking motivated individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute to our nursery’s success. Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Age Range: 18–45 years old.
• Physical Fitness: Comfortable with manual labor, including bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 kg (50 lbs).
• Experience: Prior experience in horticulture, landscaping, or nursery work is a plus, but not required—training will be provided!
• Work Ethic: A strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to work hard in an outdoor setting.
• Language: English is preferred for communication with the team.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.

Job Details

• Job Type: Seasonal (Temporary, April to October)
• Pay: Starting at $18.25 per hour

• Schedule: Full-time hours, typically Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on weather and nursery needs.
