Truck Driver

Job Description:
As a Truck Driver at Bradnam’s Windows and Doors, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality windows and doors to customers across Australia. Your work ensures timely and safe delivery, contributing to customer satisfaction for builders, homeowners, and renovators. Shift and Schedule: Overtime available

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain delivery trucks, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
• Secure items on the truck for safe transportation to customer sites.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation procedures to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
• Complete paperwork and check sheets accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized branch environment through good housekeeping.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety practices, including safe manual handling of heavy loads.
• Maintain driver diary and paperwork in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, handling products with care.
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery instructions and provide updates.
• Follow customer site requirements, including mandatory PPE and sign-in procedures.
• Perform additional duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Current manual driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• MR/HR License.
• Prior truck driving experience with a commitment to high service standards.
• Knowledge of and commitment to workplace health and safety practices, including safe handling of heavy loads.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a great work ethic.
• Ability to provide evidence of working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to undergo psychometric testing, a pre-employment medical assessment, and a police check (if required).
