Virtual Fencing Specialist Job In New Zealand

Halter is seeking for virtual fencing specialist to join their team at Morrinsville in Waikato, New Zealand. The ideal candidate have ability to lead timely and provide high-quality cross-functional projects around Halter. Halter organization mission is to enable farmers to run the most productive and sustainable farms. Candidate have ability to working with engineering team to provide input into new and existing products features to our customer success team to ensure our product meet the customers expectations. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range $55,000-$60,000 per year. It must have knowledge about farming, animals and virtual fencing throughout Halter. Applicant must have 3-5 years experience in rural sector including farming, rural business and animal behaviour.

Qualifications for Virtual Fencing Specialist:

• Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, and environment science.
• It must have 3 years experience in rural sector including farming, rural businesses and animal behaviour.
• Experience in leading cross-functional projects and agri-tech.
• Ability to think critically about problem and reach strong and innovative conclusion.
• Willing to travel for work in domestic and international as well as weekends.

Responsibilities for Virtual Fencing Specialist:

• Candidate is responsible for communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the virtual fencing system meets their requirements.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to manage different tasks.
• Ability to lead timely and high-quality cross-functional projects across Halter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with their clients.
