Responsibilities of Waiter:
- Prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers chequeens or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages
- Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
Requirements for Waiter:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and providing correct change.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., Smart Serve) is an asset.
