The Opportunity

The emphasis of this job is to manufacture and weld quality auger parts, safely and efficiently, as required. Must have MIG welding experience.

The Team

Our large production team consists of welders, general laborers, machine operators, painters, and more. As a welder you will collaborate with your Production Supervisor and peers to produce quality augers for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Including, but not limited to the following:
• Set up and weld parts using MIG welding (GMAW) in 16 gauge to ½” plates
• Operate and maintain the welder in excellent condition
• Use hand tools such as grinders, flame cutting equipment, air and power tools
• Read, understand, and follow blueprints
• Keep work area clean
• Keep up with production demands while working safely
• Perform Touch Quality Checks (TQCs)
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Welding school completion and/or on the job experience, with the ability to set temperature and wire speed
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory including, but not limited to, safety footwear, hearing protection, eye protection, hard hat, welding mask, and respiratory protection
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Troubleshooting skills
