Qualifications for Youth Mentor:

• Candidate must have 1-3 years of experience with youth in educational and recreational setting.
• Strong communications, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities for Youth Mentor:

• Candidate must have ability to provide guidance, support and encouragement to youth.
• Evaluate the needs and strengths of each youth to tailor support effectively.
• Assist youth in setting personal, educational and career goals and develop action plans to achieve them.
• Advocate for the needs and rights of youth within the community.
