Community mental health Job In New Zealand

Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau are currently seeking for a community mental health social worker to become a part of their team in Whangarei, New Zealand. It providing assessment and treatment services within the hospital, catering to individual with various concerns including those dealing with alcohol and drug issues. The ideal candidate have ability to provide the crisis response for mental health, dual diagnosis and clinical rehabilitation. Candidate have ability to work 9 – 10 hours per day within the hospital. Candidate must have ability to work within the multidisciplinary team environment with in the mental health department.

Qualifications for community mental health:

• Candidate must be registered social worker holding a current practicing certificate.
• Experience in acute and nursing practice.
• It must have current driving license.
• Experience in coexisting mental health and substance use problems.

Responsibilities for community mental health:

• Candidate is responsible for evaluating needs of individuals and families.
• Ability to collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of clients interactions, progress and treatment plans.
• Work closely with others healthcare professional and social services to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
