Queenstown community hospice is seeking for social worker therapist to join their team in Aotearoa, New Zealand. The ideal candidate have ability to connect with diverse individuals within the hospital. Queenstown community are dedicated to enhancing our services by expanding support through the creation of support groups to reflecting our commitment to comprehensive care. Candidate have capability to collaborate closely with families and guiding them through available resources and offering support throughout the care journey. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $75,000 to $85,000 per year. For this position, candidate have at least 5years experience in healthcare community.

Qualifications for Social Worker Therapist:

• Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, counselling and psychology.
• Possess a current certificate as a social work therapist.
• Experience in providing counselling or social work service through internships and previous employment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with clients, colleagues.
• Demonstrate the ability to assess clients needs, identify challenges and develop effective intervention plans.

Responsibilities for Social worker Therapist:

• The candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of clients needs.
• Providing counselling and therapy to individual families and mental health concerns.
• Possess the ability to coordinate service and resources to meet clients needs effectively, including providing follow-up support as necessary.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary team including healthcare providers and to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
