General labourer Job in Canada

Cote-Saint-Luc, QC is seeking for general labourer to join their team in city of Cote Saint-Luc, Canada. The ideal candidate must have ability to collects household garbage and large items and empties waste baskets installed on public highways and in parks; sweeps streets, sidewalks and alleys; clears snow from around municipal buildings This is fresh level temporary role. For this position salary range from $32.60 per hour.

Responsibilities for General labourer:

• Candidate must have ability to clean interior part of building which include washing walls, ceilings, light fixtures, grills and de-ices and removes snow from roofs.
• Spreads abrasives on streets and sidewalks; unclogs and drains catch basins in parks, on public highways, etc.
• Directs drivers to dumping areas and checks nature of waste loads; ensures safety regulations are respected.
• Cleans furnaces, sumps; assists skilled workers in handling various products or materials.
• Puts up, removes and puts away no-parking signs and acts as a helper on various motorized equipment and as a flagman in front of the snowblower.

Qualifications for General labourer:

• Candidate must have a high school diploma.
• Must possess a valid provincial driver’s license.
• Have a good knowledge of spoken French and English.
• Have a good knowledge of safety measures to be observed.
• Ability to perform all types of manual work, work at heights and use tools.
• General health and safety course from ASP Construction.
