Reports To:
- Housekeeping Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning & Sanitization: Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards, including windows, carpets, walls, and upholstery.
- Amenity Maintenance: Replace linens, amenities, and light bulbs as needed, ensuring a consistent guest experience.
- Guest Service: Interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner, anticipating needs and resolving requests promptly using Star Service Standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, hotel safety protocols, and proper chemical use for cleaning various surfaces.
- Reporting: Notify supervisors of irregularities (e.g., suspicious behavior, unsecured items) and turn in lost and found items per hotel policy.
- Efficiency: Complete assigned rooms within shift time, passing all inspections, and assist with VIP room preparation and special cleaning projects.
- Teamwork: Promote a positive attitude, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain cleanliness of carts, closets, and employee areas.
- Additional Duties: Provide turndown service, handle guest complaints effectively, and assist in related departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Service-Oriented: Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Physical Ability: Able to push, stand, stoop, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
- Language Skills: Basic English proficiency to communicate with guests and team members.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with proper cleaning methods and equipment maintenance is a plus.
