Speciality Clinical Nurse Job In New Zealand

Te Whatu Ora are seeking for speciality clinical nurse to join their team in Auckland region, New Zealand. Te Whatu Ora are provided substantial clinical experience and  provide support and reducing disparities in staff development, offering excellent orientation and training opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess substantial clinical nursing experience and the ability to work effectively with individual who have encountered challenges related to alcohol and other drugs use. For this position, candidate must be a registered nurse with the current competency based practicing certificate. This permanent, full time position offers a competitive salary range is $95,000 to $105,000 per year. It have ability to work 9-10 hours per day within the point Chevalier department.

Qualifications for Speciality Clinical Nurse:

  • Candidate must be registered nurse with current competency based practicing certificate.
  • It must hold a post- graduate diploma in health sciences specializing in mental health.
  • Extensive clinical experience in mental health.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervision skills.
  • Ability to set standard and manage practice effectively.

Responsibilities for Speciality Clinical Nurse:

  • Candidate is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients with mental health and addiction issues.
  • Ability to utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and improve outcomes for patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including psychiatrists, psychologists and coordinate holistic care plans.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions with patients, colleagues and stakeholders.
